Organization Overview and History
The foundation is led by the Executive Director and Chief Operating Officer, supported by a team of nine board members. Established in 2006, HARO has been actively operating primarily in West Nile, with occasional activities in Eastern Uganda as needs arise. HARO’s operations are funded through donations, and depending on available resources, the organization is capable of achieving significant progress aligned with its vision and objectives.
Vision of HARO
To assist vulnerable populations within communities—including refugees, orphans, widows, the elderly, and persons with disabilities—in accessing essential services and living dignified, meaningful lives, while helping them realize their full potential regardless of their circumstances.
Mission of HARO
Committed to empowering disadvantaged community members through comprehensive support, enabling access to fundamental services that help them cope with their situations, while providing knowledge, skills, and counseling to restore their holistic hope.
